26:106 - 108, Qur'an
[Like Noah,] when their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear [God]? Indeed, I am a trustworthy messenger to you. So fear God and obey me.
26:161 - 164, Qur'an
[And] their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear [God]? Indeed, I am a trustworthy messenger to you. So fear God and obey me. I do not ask you for any payment for it. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds."
26:142 - 145, Qur'an
[And] their brother Salih said to [Thamud], "Will you not fear [God]? Indeed, I am a trustworthy messenger to you. So fear God and obey me. I do not ask you for any payment for it. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds."
26:177 - 180, Qur'an
[And] Shu'ayb said to [the companions of the thicket], "Will you not fear [God]? Indeed, I am a trustworthy messenger to you. So fear God and obey me. I do not ask you for any payment for it. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds."
26:124 - 127, Qur'an
[And] their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear [God]? Indeed, I am a trustworthy messenger to you. So fear God and obey me. And I do not ask you for any payment for it. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
23:72 - 74, Qur'an
Or do you ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path -
Indeed, God gave Jesus the Gospel [5:46], and He sent down the Torah in which was guidance and light [5:44], so let the People of the Scripture judge by what God has revealed therein [5:47]. But a group also injected deviation into His verses [41:40], so God sent the Qur'an down in truth as a Criterion over the Scripture [5:48].
God will Not Ask you for your Wealth
Spend from that which you Love
23:84 - 85, Qur'an
[So] say, "Whom do the earth and whoever is in it [belong to], if you should know?" They will say, "[They belong] to God." Say, "Then will you not remember?"
47:36 - 37, Qur'an
And [thus,] if you believe and fear [God], He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your wealth. If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your hatred.
9:75 - 76, Qur'an
Among them are those who made a covenant with God, [saying], "If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous." But when He gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused.
92:8 - 11, Qur'an
But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need and denies the best, We will ease him toward difficulty. And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?
4:36 - 37, Qur'an
[So] serve God and do not associate anything with Him, and do good to parents, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom you possess by oath. Indeed, God does not love those who are self-deluding and boastful - [those] who are stingy and enjoin stinginess upon [other] people and conceal what God has given them of His bounty - and We have prepared a humiliating punishment for the disbelievers.
