Follow Those who do Not Ask for Any Payment and they are Rightly Guided - Like Noah, Hud, Lot, Salih, and Shu'ayb

For Indeed, Many Among the Scholars and Monks Devour the Wealth of the People Unjustly and Avert them from the Way of God

You will Never Attain Righteousness until you Spend in the Way of God from that which you Love

So Spend from what God has Given you for the Orphan, the Needy, and the Traveler; but When God Gave them of His Bounty, they were Stingy with it

9:75 - 76, Qur'an
Among them are those who made a covenant with God, [saying], "If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous." But when He gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused.

4:39, Qur'an
[But] what [harm would come] upon them if they believed in God and the Last Day and spent out of what God provided for them? And God is Knowing about them.

65:7, Qur'an
[So] let a man of wealth spend from his wealth, and he whose provision is restricted - let him spend from what God has given him. God does not charge a soul except [according to] what He has given it. God will bring about ease after hardship.

But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need and denies the best, We will ease him toward difficulty. And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?

[So] serve God and do not associate anything with Him, and do good to parents, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom you possess by oath. Indeed, God does not love those who are self-deluding and boastful - [those] who are stingy and enjoin stinginess upon [other] people and conceal what God has given them of His bounty - and We have prepared a humiliating punishment for the disbelievers.
