60:1
O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending affection to them while they have disbelieved in what came to you of the truth, having driven out the prophet and yourselves because you believe in God, your Lord. If you have come out to strive in My cause and seeking My approval, [do not take them as allies]. You confide affection to them, but I am most knowing of what you have concealed and what you have declared. And whoever does it among you has certainly strayed from the even path.

60:2
If they gain dominance over you, they would be as enemies to you and extend their hands against you and their tongues with evil, and they wish you would disbelieve.

60:3
Your relatives or your children will never benefit you; He will separate between you on the Day of Resurrection. And God is Seeing of what you do.

60:4
There has already been an excellent pattern for you in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are innocent from you and from whatever you serve other than God. We have denied you, and animosity and hatred have appeared between us and you forever until you believe in God alone;" except for the saying of Abraham to his father, "I will surely ask forgiveness for you, but I do not possess [power to do] anything for you against God. Our Lord, we trust in You, and we have turned [in repentence] to You, and the destination is to You.

60:5
Our Lord, do not make us a trial for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Almighty, the Wise."

60:6
There has certainly been an excellent pattern for you in them for anyone whose hope is in God and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, God is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

60:7
Perhaps God will put affection between you and those among them to whom you have been enemies. And God is Powerful, and God is Forgiving and Merciful.

60:8
God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from dealing kindly and justly with them. Indeed, God loves those who act justly.

60:9
God only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you turn to them [as allies]. And whoever turns to them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

60:10
O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. God is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. *Book of Jubilees 30:17, *Ezra 9:12  But give them what they have spent.  And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation.  And do not hold to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, *Ezra 10:11 but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of God; He judges between you. And God is Knowing and Wise.

60:11
And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers, and then you punish [them], then give the equivalent of what they had spent to those whose wives have gone. And fear God, in whom you are believers.

60:12
O prophet, when the believing women come to you pledging to you that they will not associate anything with God, nor will they steal, nor will they commit unlawful sexual intercourse, nor will they kill their children, nor will they bring forth a slander they have invented between their hands and feet, nor will they disobey you in what is right - then accept their pledge and ask forgiveness for them of God. Indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.

60:13
O you who have believed, do not turn to a people [as allies] with whom God has become angry. They have certainly despaired of the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [meeting] the inhabitants of the graves.
