3:3 - 4, Qur'an
[But indeed, God] has sent the [Qur'an] down to you in truth, confirming what was before it. And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel before, as guidance for the people. And He sent down the Criterion. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of God will have a severe punishment, and God is Almighty, the Owner of Retribution.
4:162 - 163, Qur'an
But those firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been sent down to you [O Muhammad], and what was sent down before you. And the establishers of prayer [especially] and the givers of charity and the believers in God and the Last Day - We will give those a great reward. Indeed, We have revealed to you, as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and We gave the Scripture [Psalms] to David.
23:52 - 53, Qur'an
"[So] indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." But the people divided their affair amongst themselves into [separate] Scriptures - each faction rejoicing [only] in what [Book] it has -
2:135 - 137, Qur'an
[For] they say, "Be Jews or Christians [or Sunni or Shia or Qur'anist Muslims so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not among the polytheists." Say, "We have believed in God and what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel] and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and we are in submission to Him." So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and God will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

2:4 - 5, Qur'an
[Those] who believe in what has been sent down to you [O Muhammad], and what was sent down before you, and they are certain of the Hereafter - those are upon guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful -
21:92 - 93, Qur'an
[For] indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so serve Me. And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all will return to Us.
30:31 - 32, Qur'an
[So] do not be among those who associate others [with God] - among those [Sunni and Shia Muslims] who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what [Hadiths] it has -
[For they say in their Hadiths], "Some people will come out of the Fire after they have received a touch of the Fire, changing their color, and they will enter Paradise," - Sahih al-Bukhari
2:79 - 81, Qur'an
So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This [Hadith] is from God," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn - [for] they say [in their Hadiths], "The Fire will never touch us, except for a few days." [So] say, "Have you taken a covenant with God? For God will never break His covenant. Or do you say something about God which you do not know? [For] yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.
77:49 - 50, Qur'an
[So] woe to the deniers that Day. Then in what hadith will they believe after [the Qur'an]?
61:8 - 9, Qur'an
[For] they want to extinguish the light of God with their mouths, but God will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. It is He who sent His messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over every religion, although those who associate others [with God] dislike it -
John 3:20- 21, Gospel
For everyone who does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, unless his deeds should be reproved. But he who does truth comes to the light, so that his deeds may be made manifest, so that they are done in God.
24:34 - 35, Qur'an
[For] We have certainly sent down clear verses to you and examples from those who passed on before you and an admonition for those who fear [God]. God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass [is] as if it were a brilliant [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. God guides whomever He wills to His light. And God sets forth examples for the people, and God is Knowing of all things.
19:56 - 57, Qur'an
[So] remember in the Scripture, [Enoch]. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. And We raised him to a high place.
19:53, Qur'an
And We gave him his brother Aaron as a prophet out of Our mercy.
6:85 - 87, Qur'an
[And indeed,] Zacharias and John and Jesus and Elijah - all [were] among the righteous. And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot - and We preferred all [of them] over the worlds. And [some] among their fathers and their descendants and their brothers - and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path -
James 4:7, Gospel
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1 Corinthians 15:27 - 28, Gospel
For He has submitted all things under His feet. But when He says all things are submitted under [Him, it is] clear that He is excepted, who submitted all things under Him. And when all things will be submitted to Him, then the Son [of man] himself will also be submitted to Him who submitted all things under Him, so that God may be all in all.
31:22 - 24, Qur'an
[So] whoever submits his face to God while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And the outcome of [all] matters will be to God. And whoever has disbelieved - do not let his disbelief grieve you. Their return is to Us, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, God is Knowing of that within the hearts. We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a severe punishment.
3:84 - 85, Qur'an
[So] say, "We have believed in God and in what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and we are submitting to Him." And whoever seeks a religion other than submission [to God] - it will never be accepted from him, and he will be among the ones in loss in the Hereafter -
5:65 - 66, Qur'an
If only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared [God], We would have surely removed their misdeeds from them and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure. And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been sent down to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. There is a moderate community among them, but what many of them do is evil -
5:42 - 44, Qur'an
[For they are avid] listeners to falsehood, devourers of [what is] unlawful. So if they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them - they will never harm you at all. And if you judge, judge between them with justice. Indeed, God loves those who act justly. But how is it that they come to you for judgement while they have the Torah, in which is the judgement of God? Then they turn away, [even] after that; but those are not believers. [For] indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to God] judged by [the Torah] for the Jews, as the rabbis and scholars [judged] by that which they were entrusted of the Scripture of God, and they were witnesses thereto. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what God has sent down - then it is those who are the disbelievers.
5:46 - 47, Qur'an
And We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, following in their footsteps, confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah as guidance and instruction for those who fear [God]. [So] let the People of the Gospel judge by what God has sent down therein. And whoever does not judge by what God has sent down - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.
3:113 - 115, Qur'an
[But] they are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of God during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer]. They believe in God and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous. And whatever good they do - they will never be denied it. And God is Knowing of those who fear [Him].
2:111 - 112, Qur'an
They say, "None will enter the Garden except one who is a Jew or a Christian." That is [merely] their wishful thinking, say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful." Yes, [those among them who submitted to God will enter the Garden, for] whoever submits his face to God while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord. And there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve -
10:63 - 64, Qur'an
[But] those who believed and were fearing [God] - there is good news for them in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. There is no change in the words of God. That is what is the great success.
*Matthew 5:5, Gospel
[And thus] blessed [are] the meek, for they will inherit the earth -
[2 Ezra 12:36 - 38], Torah
[For they said,] "You only have been meet to know this secret of the Highest. Therefore write all these things that you have seen in a Book, and hide them; and teach them to the wise of the people, whose hearts you know may comprehend and keep these secrets."
2:159 - 160, Qur'an
[But] indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by God and cursed by those who curse, except for those who repent and correct themselves and make clear [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
2:41 - 42, Qur'an
[So] believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My verses for a small price, and fear [only] Me. And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].
Jeremiah 23:31 - 32, Torah
[And thus God said,] "Behold, I [am] against the 'prophets,' who use their tongues and say, 'He says.' Behold, I [am] against those who prophesy false dreams, and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I did not send them, nor command them, therefore they will not profit this people at all," the Lord says.
Ezekiel 13:6 - 7, Torah
[Rather,] they have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, "The Lord says," and the Lord has not sent them, and they have made [others] hope that they would confirm the word. Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, whereas you say, "The Lord says [it];" although I have not spoken?
3:70 - 71, Qur'an
[So] O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of God while you witness [to their truth]? [And] O People of the Scripture, why do you mix the truth with falsehood?
22:52 - 54, Qur'an
[For] We did not send any messenger or prophet before you except that when Satan desired, he threw in his [own] desire [into His verses]. But God abrogates that [falsehood] which Satan throws in [His verses]; then God makes His verses precise. And God is Knowing and Wise. [That is] so He may make what [falsehood] Satan throws in a trial for those who have disease in their hearts and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension. And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts become humble to it. And indeed, God is the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path.
3:3 - 4, Qur'an
[For God] has sent the Book down to you in truth, confirming what was before it. And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel before, as guidance for the people. And He sent down the Criterion.
3:66 - 67, Qur'an
[For] here you are - those who have argued about that which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that which you have no knowledge? And God knows, while you do not know. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, submitting [to God]. And he was not among the polytheists.
2:130 - 131, Qur'an
And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who fooled himself? And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed, he will be among the righteous in the Hereafter. [For] when his Lord said to him, "Submit", he said, "I have submitted to the Lord of the worlds."
[Book of Jubilees 20:9 - 11], Torah
[And so] I implore you, my sons, love the God of heaven, and cleave to all His commandments. And do not walk after their idols, and after their uncleannesses, and do not make molten or graven gods for yourselves; for they are vanity, and there is no spirit in them; for they are work of [men's] hands, and all who trust in them, trust in nothing. Do not serve them, nor prostrate to them, but prostrate to the Most High God, and serve Him continually; and always hope for His Countenance."
Hebrews 6:13 - 14, Gospel
[And so] when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He swore by Himself, saying, "Surely blessing, I will bless you, and multiplying, I will multiply you.
2:136 - 137, Qur'an
[So] say, "We have believed in God and what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel] and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and we are in submission to Him." So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and God will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
*Genesis 15:5 - 6, Torah
[For remember when God] brought [Abraham] forth abroad, and said, "Look now toward the heavens, and tell the stars, if you are able to number them," and He said to him, "So will your seed be." And [Abraham] believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteousness.
6:161 - 163, Qur'an
[So] say, "Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path - a correct religion - the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated [others with God]." [So] say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for God, Lord of the worlds. He has no partner. And I have been commanded this, and I am the first [among you] of those in submission [to God]."
6:126 - 127, Qur'an
And this is the path of your Lord, [leading] straight. We have detailed the verses for a people who remember. There will be the Home of Peace with their Lord for them. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.
[Book of Enoch 90:40 - 41], Torah
[Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah said,] "This is the vision which I saw while I was asleep, and I woke up, blessed the Lord of righteousness, and ascribed glory to Him. But after this I wept bitterly and my tears did not stop until I could not endure it. When I looked, they ran down, because of what I saw, for everything will come to pass and be fulfilled, and all the deeds of men, in their order, were shown to me."
19:56 - 57, Qur'an
And [so] remember in the Book, [Enoch]. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. And We raised him to a high place -
[Book of Enoch 87:3 - 4], Torah
[Whereby,] those three, who came out last, took hold of me by my hand and raised me from the generations of the earth, and lifted me up onto a high place, and showed me a tower high above the earth, and all the hills were lower. And one said to me, "Remain here until you have seen everything which is coming upon these elephants, and camels, and donkeys, and upon the stars, and upon all the bulls."
[Book of Enoch 85:2 - 3], Torah
[So] Enoch raised his voice and said to his son Methuselah, "I speak to you, my son. Hear my words, and incline your ear to the dream vision of your father. Before I took your mother, Edna, I saw a vision on my bed, and behold, a bull came out of the earth [Adam], and that bull was white. And after it, a heifer came out [Eve], and two bullocks came with the heifer, and one of them was black [Cain] and the other red [Abel].
[Book of Enoch 89:1 - 3], Torah
[And one, Noah] was born a bull, but became a man, and built a large vessel for himself, and dwelt on it, and three bulls went with him in that vessel, and they were covered over. And again, I raised my eyes to heaven and saw a high roof with seven water channels on it, and those channels discharged much water into an enclosure. And I looked again, and behold, springs opened on the floor of that large enclosure, and water began to bubble up, and to rise above the floor. And I looked at that enclosure until its whole floor was covered by water.
[Book of Enoch 89:5 - 6], Torah
And all the bulls of that enclosure were gathered together, until I saw how they sank, and were swallowed up and destroyed in that water. And that vessel floated on the water, but all the bulls, elephants, camels, and donkeys sank to the bottom, together with all the animals, so that I could not see them. And they were unable to get out, but were destroyed, and sank into the depths.
[Book of Enoch 89:7 - 8], Torah
And again, I looked at that vision until those water channels were removed from that high roof, and the chasms of the earth were made level, and other abysses were opened. And the water began to run down into them, until the earth became visible, and that vessel settled on the earth [Mount Judiyy] and the darkness departed, and light appeared.
[Book of Enoch 89:11 - 12] Torah
And they began to bite one another, but that white bull [Abraham], which was born amongst them, begat a wild donkey [Ishmael] and a white bull [Isaac] with it, and the wild donkeys increased. But that bull [Isaac], which was born from it, begat a black wild boar [Esau] and a white sheep [Jacob], and that wild boar begat many boars and that sheep [Jacob] begat twelve sheep [Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher].
[Book of Enoch 89:16 - 17], Torah
But a sheep [Moses], which had been saved from the wolves [the Egyptians], fled and escaped to the wild donkeys. And I saw the sheep moaning and crying out, and petitioning the Lord with all their power, until that Lord of the sheep came down at the call of the sheep, from a high room, and came to them, and looked at them. And He called that sheep [Moses], which had fled from the wolves, and spoke to it about the wolves, that it should warn them that they should not touch the sheep [the Children of Israel].
[Book of Enoch 89:19 - 20], Torah
And after this, I saw the wolves [the Egyptians], how they acted even more harshly towards the sheep [the Children of Israel], with all their power, and the sheep called out. And their Lord came to the sheep and began to beat those wolves; and the wolves began to moan, but the sheep became silent and from then on they did not cry out.
[Book of Enoch 89:23 - 24], Torah
[So] the wolves [the Egyptians] began to pursue those sheep [the Children of Israel] until they met them by a stretch of water [the Red Sea]. And that stretch of water was divided, and the water stood on one side, and on the other, before them. And their Lord, as He led them, stood between them and the wolves.
[Book of Enoch 89:25 - 27], Torah
And while those wolves [the Egyptians] had not yet seen the sheep [the Children of Israel], they went into the middle of that stretch of water [the Red Sea]; but the wolves pursued the sheep, and those wolves ran after them into that stretch of water. But when they saw the Lord of the sheep, they turned to flee in front of Him; but that stretch of water flowed together again, and suddenly resumed its natural form, and the water swelled up, and rose until it covered those wolves. And I looked until all the wolves that had pursued those sheep were destroyed and drowned.
[Book of Enoch 89:28 - 29], Torah
But the sheep [the Children of Israel] escaped that water, and went to a desert [the wilderness], where there was neither water, nor grass. And they began to open their eyes and see, and I saw the Lord of the sheep pasturing them, and giving them water and grass [manna and quails], and that sheep [Moses] going and leading them. And that sheep went up to the summit of a high rock [Mount Sinai] and the Lord of the sheep sent it to them.
[Book of Enoch 89:32 - 33], Torah
And that sheep [Moses], which led them, again went up to the summit of that rock [Mount Sinai]; and the sheep began to be blinded, and go astray from the path which had been shown to them [by making a molten calf], but that sheep did not know. And the Lord of the sheep was extremely angry with them, and that sheep knew, and went down from the summit of the rock, and came to the sheep, and found the majority of them, with their eyes blinded, and going astray from His path [by taking a molten calf as a god].
[Book of Enoch 89:40 - 41], Torah
And I looked until the sheep came to a good place and a pleasant and glorious land, and I looked until those sheep were satisfied. And that house was in the middle of them in that green and pleasant land. And sometimes their eyes were opened, and sometimes blinded, until another sheep rose up [Samuel], led them, and brought them all back. And their eyes were opened.
[Book of Enoch 89:42 - 43], Torah
And the dogs, and the foxes, and the wild boars, began to devour those sheep until the Lord of the sheep raised up a ram [Saul] from among them, which led them. And that ram [Saul] began to butt those dogs, foxes, and wild boars, on one side and on the other until it had destroyed them all.
[Book of Enoch 89:45 - 46], Torah
And the Lord of the sheep sent the sheep to another sheep [David] and raised it up to be a ram and to lead the sheep in place of that sheep [Saul] which had renounced its glory. And it went to it, and spoke with it alone, and raised up that ram [David], and made it the prince and leader of the sheep. And during all this, those dogs oppressed the sheep.
[Book of Enoch 89:52 - 53], Torah
But one of them [Jesus] was saved, and was not killed, and it sprang away and cried out against the sheep. And they wished to kill it but the Lord of the sheep saved it from the hands of the sheep, brought it up to me, and made it stay. And He sent many other sheep [the disciples] to those sheep, to testify to them and to lament over them.
[Book of Enoch 89:66 - 67], Torah
And the lions and the tigers [the Gentiles] devoured and swallowed up the majority of those sheep, and the wild boars devoured with them; and they burnt down that tower and demolished that house [Jerusalem]. And I was extremely sad about that tower because that house of the sheep had been demolished; and after that I was unable to see whether those sheep went into that house.
[Book of Enoch 90:2 - 3], Torah
And after this, I saw in the vision, all the birds of the heaven coming, the eagles, the vultures, and the kites, and the ravens [the people of Mecca]. But the eagles led all the birds, and they began to devour those sheep, to peck out their eyes, and to devour their flesh. And the sheep cried out because the birds devoured their flesh. And I cried out and lamented in my sleep because of that shepherd who pastured the sheep.
[Book of Enoch 90:8 - 9], Torah
And I saw in the vision, how the ravens [the people of Mecca] flew upon those lambs, and took one of those lambs, and dashed the sheep in pieces and devoured them. And I looked until horns came up on those lambs but the ravens cast their horns down. And I looked until a big horn grew on one of those sheep [Muhammad], and their eyes were opened.
[Book of Enoch 104:10 - 105:1], Torah
And now I know this mystery; that many sinners will alter and distort the words of truth, and speak evil words, and lie, and concoct great fabrications, and write books in their own words. But when they write my words exactly in their languages, and do not alter or omit anything from my words, but write everything exactly, everything that I testified about before; then I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and wise and will be a source of joy and truth and much wisdom. And books will be given to them, and they will believe in them and rejoice over them; and all the righteous who have learned all the ways of truth from them will be glad. And in those days, the Lord says, they will call and testify to the sons of the earth about the wisdom in them. Show it to them, for you are their leaders, and the rewards will be over all the earth.
