They Say, "Be Jews or Christians [or Sunni Muslims or Qur'anists]," so Say, "Rather, we Follow the Religion of Abraham, and we are in Submission to God"

So do Not be Among those who have Divided into Sects, Rejoicing Only in what Book it has, for God Sent Down the Qur'an, and the Torah and the Gospel Before, for Indeed, This Religion is One Religion

30:32, Qur'an
[So do not be] among those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what [Book] it has -

2:91, Qur'an
[For] when it is said to them, "Believe in what God has sent down," they say, "We believe [only] in what was sent down to us."

3:3 - 4, Qur'an
[But indeed, God] has sent the [Qur'an] down to you in truth, confirming what was before it.  And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel before, as guidance for the people. And He sent down the Criterion. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of God will have a severe punishment, and God is Almighty, the Owner of Retribution.

4:136, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, believe in God and His messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down before.  And whoever disbelieves in God, His Books, His messengers, His angels, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray -

2:113, Qur'an
[Such as] the Jews, [who] say, "The Christians [have] nothing [true]," and the Christians, [who] say, "The Jews [have] nothing [true]," although they [both] recite the Scripture. Thus those who do not know [including the Sunni, Shia, and Qur'anist Muslims] speak the same as their words [and say, "The Jews and the Christians have nothing true."] But God will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning those [matters] in which they used to differ.

4:162 - 163, Qur'an
But those firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been sent down to you [O Muhammad], and what was sent down before you. And the establishers of prayer [especially] and the givers of charity and the believers in God and the Last Day - We will give those a great reward.  Indeed, We have revealed to you, as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him.  And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and We gave the Scripture [Psalms] to David.

23:52 - 53, Qur'an
"[So] indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me."  But the people divided their affair amongst themselves into [separate] Scriptures - each faction rejoicing [only] in what [Book] it has -

2:135 - 137, Qur'an
[For] they say, "Be Jews or Christians [or Sunni or Shia or Qur'anist Muslims so] you will be guided."  Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not among the polytheists."  Say, "We have believed in God and what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel] and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and we are in submission to Him."  So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and God will be sufficient for you against them.  And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

This, your Religion, is One Religion - for We Gave Jesus the Gospel, Confirming that which was in his Hands of the Torah

Then God Sent Down the Qur'an, Confirming what was Before it - so Believe in the Qur'an and the Scripture which He Sent down Before

2:4 - 5, Qur'an
[Those] who believe in what has been sent down to you [O Muhammad], and what was sent down before you, and they are certain of the Hereafter - those are upon guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful -

45:16, Qur'an
[For] We certainly gave the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

6:154, Qur'an
[And] We gave Moses the Scripture, making [Our favor] complete upon the one who did good and as a detailed explanation of all things and as guidance and mercy so that perhaps they would believe in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord.

5:46, Qur'an
[Then] We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, following in their footsteps, confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah as guidance and instruction for those who fear [God].

35:31, Qur'an
And that which We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed, God is Aware and Seeing of His servants.

10:37, Qur'an
And it was not [possible] for this Qur'an to be produced by [anything] other than God, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture from the Lord of the worlds, about which there is no doubt.

34:31, Qur'an
[But] those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur'an nor in that [Scripture] before it." But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, refuting each other's words - those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "If not for you, we would have been believers."

40:70, Qur'an
[And thus,] those who deny the Book and that [Scripture] which We sent Our messengers with - soon they are going to know -

3:3, Qur'an
[That indeed, God] has sent the [Qur'an] down to you in truth, confirming what was before it.  And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel,

4:136, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, believe in God and His messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in God, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray -

[For] indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so serve Me. And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all will return to Us.

Do Not Be Among those who Associate with God - Among those Sunni and Shia Muslims who Divided their Religion, Each Faction Rejoicing in what Hadiths it has

For they Say, "This Hadith is from God," but it is Not from God, for they were Deluded in their Religion which they were Inventing

30:31 - 32, Qur'an
[So] do not be among those who associate others [with God] - among those [Sunni and Shia Muslims] who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what [Hadiths] it has -

3:78, Qur'an
[For] indeed, there is a group among them who alters the Book with their tongues so you may think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book.  And they say, "This [Hadith] is from God," but it is not from God. And they speak a lie about God while they know -

3:24, Qur'an
That is because they say [in their Hadiths], "The Fire will never touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing -

[For they say in their Hadiths], "Some people will come out of the Fire after they have received a touch of the Fire, changing their color, and they will enter Paradise," - Sahih al-Bukhari

2:79 - 81, Qur'an
So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This [Hadith] is from God," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn - [for] they say [in their Hadiths], "The Fire will never touch us, except for a few days." [So] say, "Have you taken a covenant with God? For God will never break His covenant. Or do you say something about God which you do not know? [For] yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

11:113, Qur'an
[So] do not incline toward those who do wrong, unless you should be touched by the Fire, and you would not have any protectors other than God; then you would not be helped.

77:49 - 50, Qur'an
[So] woe to the deniers that Day. Then in what hadith will they believe after [the Qur'an]?

3:105, Qur'an
[So] do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment.

6:159, Qur'an
[So] indeed, those [Sunni and Shia Muslims] who have divided their religion and become sects - you are not [associated] with them in anything.  Their affair is only [left] to God; then He will inform them about what they used to do.

16:93, Qur'an
[And] if God had willed, He could have made you [of] one religion, but He causes to stray whomever He wills and guides whomever He wills.  And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.

Those who Believe in God and His Messengers and Make No Division Between Any of them - He is Going to Give their Rewards to them

But those who Kill the Prophets and Say, "We Believe in Some and Disbelieve in Others," those are the Disbelievers who will have a Humiliating Punishment

4:152, Qur'an
Those who believe in God and His messengers and make no division between any of them - He will soon give their rewards to them.  And God is Forgiving and Merciful.

3:84, Qur'an
[So] say, "We have believed in God and in what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and we are submitting to Him."

4:150, Qur'an
[But] indeed, those who disbelieve in God and His messengers and wish to make a division between God and His messengers and say, "We believe in some and disbelieve in others," and wish to take a way in between -

John 9:29, Gospel
[Such as the Pharisees, who said,] "We know that God spoke to Moses, [but as for] this [Jesus], we do not know from where he is." -

4:151, Qur'an
Those are the disbelievers, truly.  And We have prepared a humiliating punishment for the disbelievers -

2:91, Qur'an
[For] when it is said to them, "Believe in what God has sent down," they say, "We believe [only] in what was sent down to us."  And they disbelieve in what came after it, while it is the truth confirming that which is with them.  Say, "Then why did you kill the prophets of God before, if you are [indeed] believers?"

Matthew 23:30, Gospel
[But they] say, "If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets."

2:89, Qur'an
[But] when a Book did [indeed] come to them from God confirming that which was with them - although they used to pray for victory against those who disbelieved before - but [then] when that which they recognized did [indeed] come to them, they disbelieved in it; so the curse of God will be upon the disbelievers.

2:90, Qur'an
How wretched is that for which they sold their souls - that they would disbelieve in what God has sent down through [their] outrage that God would send down His favor upon whomever He wills from among His servants.  So they incurred wrath upon wrath.  And there is a humiliating punishment for the disbelievers -

13:43, Qur'an
[For] those who have disbelieved say, "You, [O Muhammad], are not a messenger." [So] say, "God is sufficient as Witness between me and you, and whoever has knowledge of the Scripture" -

2:87, Qur'an
[For] We certainly gave Moses the Scripture and followed up with messengers after him. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Holy Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And you denied a group and you killed another group.

35:25, Qur'an
And [so] if they deny you [O Muhammad] - then those before them have already denied.  Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.

5:59, Qur'an
[So] say, "O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except [for the fact] that we have believed in God and what was sent down to us and what was sent down before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?"

2:285, Qur'an
The messenger has believed in what was sent down to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in God and His angels and His Books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no division between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and the [final] destination is to You."

God had Already Given Moses and Aaron a Light, and He Gave Jesus the Gospel, in which was Guidance and Light

And it is He who Sends Down Verses of Clear Evidence upon Muhammad so that He may Bring you out from Darknesses into the Light, so Believe in God and the Light which We have Sent Down

21:48, Qur'an
We had already given Moses and Aaron the Criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous -

14:5, Qur'an
[For] We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring your people out from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of God."  Indeed there are signs in that for everyone patient and grateful.

5:46, Qur'an
And We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, following in their footsteps, confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light, and confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah as guidance and instruction for those who fear [God].

57:9, Qur'an
[And] it is He who sends down verses of clear evidence upon His servant [Muhammad] so that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light.  And indeed, God is Kind and Merciful to you.

6:91, Qur'an
[But] they did not appraise God with true appraisal when they said, "God did not send down anything to a human being." Say, "Who sent down the Scripture that Moses brought as a light and guidance to the people? You make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you were taught that which you did not know - neither you nor your fathers." Say, "God [sent it down]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves -

61:8 - 9, Qur'an
[For] they want to extinguish the light of God with their mouths, but God will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. It is He who sent His messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over every religion, although those who associate others [with God] dislike it -

John 3:20- 21, Gospel
For everyone who does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, unless his deeds should be reproved.  But he who does truth comes to the light, so that his deeds may be made manifest, so that they are done in God.

5:16, Qur'an
[For] God guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path -

Luke 1:79, Gospel
To give light to those who sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

4:174, Qur'an
[So] O mankind, a conclusive proof has come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down a clear light to you -

24:34 - 35, Qur'an
[For] We have certainly sent down clear verses to you and examples from those who passed on before you and an admonition for those who fear [God]. God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass [is] as if it were a brilliant [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. God guides whomever He wills to His light. And God sets forth examples for the people, and God is Knowing of all things.

64:8, Qur'an
So believe in God and His messenger and the light which We have sent down. And God is Aware of what you do.

God Raised the Prophets and Sent the Scripture Down with them in Truth, and so He has Revealed to Muhammad as He Revealed to the Prophets After Noah

So Say, "We have Believed in God and what was Given to Moses and Jesus and the Prophets from their Lord"

2:213, Qur'an
Mankind was one nation; then God raised the prophets as bringers of good news and warners and sent the Scripture down with them in truth to judge between the people concerning those [matters] in which they differed...

19:56 - 57, Qur'an
[So] remember in the Scripture, [Enoch].  Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.  And We raised him to a high place.

19:41, Qur'an
And remember in the Scripture, [the story of] Abraham. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.

19:49, Qur'an
[And] when [Abraham] had left them and those they served other than God, We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and We made each [of them] a prophet.

19:51, Qur'an
And remember in the Scripture, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet.

19:53, Qur'an
And We gave him his brother Aaron as a prophet out of Our mercy.

19:54, Qur'an
And remember in the Scripture, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet.

6:85 - 87, Qur'an
[And indeed,] Zacharias and John and Jesus and Elijah - all [were] among the righteous. And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot - and We preferred all [of them] over the worlds.  And [some] among their fathers and their descendants and their brothers - and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path -

[For] those are the ones to whom We gave the Scripture and judgement and prophethood. But if the disbelievers deny it, then We have entrusted it to a people who are not disbelievers therein.

4:163, Qur'an
[So] indeed, We have revealed to you [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and We gave the Scripture [Psalms] to David.

42:13, Qur'an
[For God] has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein. [But] that which you invite them to is difficult for those who associate others [with God]. God chooses for Himself whomever He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him].

2:136, Qur'an
[So] say, "We have believed in God and what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel] and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and we are in submission to Him."

The Religion Near to God is Submission to God [l-is'lāmu], for He has Submitted All Things under His Feet, so Willingly Submit yourselves to God

For it is the Religion of your Father, Abraham - God Named you "in Submission to God" [l-mus'limīna] Before in the Former Scriptures, Even Jesus Submitted to God

Psalms 81:15, Torah
The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves to Him, but their time should have endured forever.

Romans 10:3, Gospel
For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.

James 4:7, Gospel
Submit yourselves therefore to God.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Corinthians 15:27 - 28, Gospel
For He has submitted all things under His feet.  But when He says all things are submitted under [Him, it is] clear that He is excepted, who submitted all things under Him.  And when all things will be submitted to Him, then the Son [of man] himself will also be submitted to Him who submitted all things under Him, so that God may be all in all.

3:83, Qur'an
So is it [a religion] other than the religion of God they desire, while [all] those within the heavens and earth have submitted to Him, willingly or by compulsion, and they will be returned to Him?

22:78, Qur'an
[So] strive for God with the true striving [due] to Him.  He has chosen you and has not placed any difficulty upon you in the religion.  [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham.  [God] named you "in submission [to God]" [l-mus'limīna] before [in former Scriptures] and in this [revelation] so that the messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people.  So establish prayer and give purifying [alms] and hold firmly to God.  He is your Protector; and the protector is excellent, and the helper is excellent.

31:22 - 24, Qur'an
[So] whoever submits his face to God while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And the outcome of [all] matters will be to God.  And whoever has disbelieved - do not let his disbelief grieve you. Their return is to Us, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, God is Knowing of that within the hearts.  We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a severe punishment.

Psalms 66:3, Torah
[So] say to God, "How terrible [are You in] Your works!  Your enemies will submit themselves to You through the greatness of Your power."

2 Chronicles 30:8, Torah
[So] now do not be stiffnecked, as your fathers [were, but] submit yourselves to the Lord, and enter into His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the Lord your God, so that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you.

39:54, Qur'an
[So] return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped -

3:84 - 85, Qur'an
[So] say, "We have believed in God and in what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and we are submitting to Him."  And whoever seeks a religion other than submission [to God] - it will never be accepted from him, and he will be among the ones in loss in the Hereafter -

3:19, Qur'an
[For] indeed, the religion near to God is submission [to God] [l-is'lāmu]. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves.  And whoever disbelieves in the verses of God, then indeed, God is swift in [taking] account.

O People of the Scripture, you are Standing on Nothing Until you Uphold what has been Sent Down to you - so Let them Judge by what God has Sent Down Therein in the Torah and the Gospel

And Thus, Among the People of the Scripture are those who Believe in God and what was Sent Down to Muhammad, and what was Sent Down to them

5:65 - 66, Qur'an
If only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared [God], We would have surely removed their misdeeds from them and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure. And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been sent down to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet.  There is a moderate community among them, but what many of them do is evil -

62:5, Qur'an
[For] the example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not uphold it is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books].  It is a wretched example concerning the people who deny the verses of God.  And God does not guide the wrongdoing people -

5:42 - 44, Qur'an
[For they are avid] listeners to falsehood, devourers of [what is] unlawful.  So if they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them.  And if you turn away from them - they will never harm you at all.  And if you judge, judge between them with justice.  Indeed, God loves those who act justly.  But how is it that they come to you for judgement while they have the Torah, in which is the judgement of God?  Then they turn away, [even] after that; but those are not believers.  [For] indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light.  The prophets who submitted [to God] judged by [the Torah] for the Jews, as the rabbis and scholars [judged] by that which they were entrusted of the Scripture of God, and they were witnesses thereto. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what God has sent down - then it is those who are the disbelievers.

5:45, Qur'an
And We prescribed for them therein - a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth [as legal retribution], and legal retribution for wounds.  But whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him.  And whoever does not judge by what God has sent down - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

5:46 - 47, Qur'an
And We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, following in their footsteps, confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah as guidance and instruction for those who fear [God]. [So] let the People of the Gospel judge by what God has sent down therein.  And whoever does not judge by what God has sent down - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.

5:68, Qur'an
[So] say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been sent down to you from your Lord."  And that which has been sent down to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief.  So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.

3:113 - 115, Qur'an
[But] they are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of God during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer].  They believe in God and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous. And whatever good they do - they will never be denied it.  And God is Knowing of those who fear [Him].

7:170, Qur'an
[And] those who hold fast to the Scripture and establish prayer - indeed, We will not allow the reward of the reformers to be lost.

3:199, Qur'an
And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in God and what was sent down to you [O Muhammad] and what was sent down to them, [being] humble to God.  They do not exchange the verses of God for a small price.  Those will have their reward with their Lord.  Indeed, God is swift in account.

Those who were Jews or Christians, who Believed in God and did Righteousness, will have their Reward with their Lord

And they will Say, "Praise to God, who has Fulfilled His Promise and Made us Meek Inherit the Earth so that we may Settle in the Garden"

2:111 - 112, Qur'an
They say, "None will enter the Garden except one who is a Jew or a Christian."  That is [merely] their wishful thinking, say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful."  Yes, [those among them who submitted to God will enter the Garden, for] whoever submits his face to God while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord.  And there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve -

5:9, Qur'an
[For] God has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds [that] there is forgiveness and great reward for them.

5:69, Qur'an
[So] indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in God and the Last Day and did righteousness - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve -

5:12, Qur'an
[For] God had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We raised twelve leaders from among them.  And God said, "I am with you.  If you establish prayer and give charity and believe in My messengers and honor them and loan God a good loan, I will surely remove your misdeeds from you and admit you to Gardens in which rivers flow beneath them.  But whoever among you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the even path -

3:56, Qur'an
[Whereby,] for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers."

10:63 - 64, Qur'an
[But] those who believed and were fearing [God] - there is good news for them in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. There is no change in the words of God. That is what is the great success.

2:62, Qur'an
[So] indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans - those [among them] who believed in God and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve -

41:30, Qur'an

God did Not Send Any Messenger Except that Satan Threw in his Own Desire, and they Say, "This is from God," but it is Not from God

So Woe to you who Alter the Words of Truth and Distort the Law, for they have Exchanged the Verses of God for a Small Price and Corrupted Every Prophecy

They have exchanged the verses of God for a small price and averted [people] from His way. Indeed, what they were doing was evil.

God Sent Down the Qur'an in Truth as a Criterion Over the Scripture, so Judge Between them by what God has Sent Down

For God Eliminates what He Wills or He Confirms, so Race to All that is Good - for God has Spoken Only One Message to All Men

Indeed, We have sent the Book down to you in truth so that you may judge between the people by that which God has shown you. And do not be an advocate for the deceitful -

[So] O People of the Scripture, Our messenger has come to you to make [the religion] clear to you after a period [of suspension] of messengers, unless you should say, "No bringer of good news or a warner came to us." But a bringer of good news and a warner has come to you. And God is Powerful over all things -

[For] We have sent the [Qur'an] down to you in truth, confirming that which is between one's hands of the Scripture and as a Criterion over it. So judge between them by what God has sent down and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We made a law and a method. Abraham was Neither a Jew Nor a Christian, but One Submitting to God, so Follow the Religion of Abraham

For God Made a Promise to Abraham - that All the Nations of the Earth will be Blessed in his Seed

They say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided."  [So] say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not among the polytheists."

[For] here you are - those who have argued about that which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that which you have no knowledge? [So] do not argue with the People of the Scripture except by what is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been sent down to us and [that which was] sent down to you.  And our God and your God is one; and we are in submission to Him."

God Took Abraham as a Friend, for Abraham Believed God and He Counted it to him for Righteousness

And This is the Path of your Lord Leading Straight - the Way of Abraham - God will be their Protecting Friend for what they used to do

But the sheep [the Children of Israel] escaped that water, and went to a desert [the wilderness], where there was neither water, nor grass.  And they began to open their eyes and see, and I saw the Lord of the sheep pasturing them, and giving them water and grass [manna and quails], and that sheep [Moses] going and leading them.  And that sheep went up to the summit of a high rock [Mount Sinai] and the Lord of the sheep sent it to them.

And the Lord of the sheep sent the sheep to another sheep [David] and raised it up to be a ram and to lead the sheep in place of that sheep [Saul] which had renounced its glory.  And it went to it, and spoke with it alone, and raised up that ram [David], and made it the prince and leader of the sheep.  And during all this, those dogs oppressed the sheep.

But the eagles led all the birds, and they began to devour those sheep, to peck out their eyes, and to devour their flesh. And the sheep cried out because the birds devoured their flesh. And I cried out and lamented in my sleep because of that shepherd who pastured the sheep.

And I saw in the vision, how the ravens [the people of Mecca] flew upon those lambs, and took one of those lambs, and dashed the sheep in pieces and devoured them.  And I looked until horns came up on those lambs but the ravens cast their horns down.  And I looked until a big horn grew on one of those sheep [Muhammad], and their eyes were opened.

And besides all this, those eagles, and vultures, and ravens, and kites [the people of Mecca], were still continually tearing the sheep in pieces, and flying upon them and devouring them.  And the sheep were silent but the rams lamented and cried out.  And those ravens battled and fought with it [Muhammad], and wished to make away with its horn, but they did not prevail against it.

And now I know this mystery; that many sinners will alter and distort the words of truth, and speak evil words, and lie, and concoct great fabrications, and write books in their own words. But when they write my words exactly in their languages, and do not alter or omit anything from my words, but write everything exactly, everything that I testified about before; then I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and wise and will be a source of joy and truth and much wisdom. And books will be given to them, and they will believe in them and rejoice over them; and all the righteous who have learned all the ways of truth from them will be glad. And in those days, the Lord says, they will call and testify to the sons of the earth about the wisdom in them. Show it to them, for you are their leaders, and the rewards will be over all the earth.
