God did Not Command Concerning Sacrifices, for it is Not Possible that the Blood of Goats Should Take Away Sins

Leviticus 4:25 - 26, Old Testament
[But they falsely said,] "The priest will take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and will pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
And he will burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings, and the priest will make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it will be forgiven him.

But God does Not Delight in the Blood of Goats, Rather, to do Justice and to Love God is More Than All Sacrifices

Isaiah 1:11 - 12, Old Testament
"[So] to what purpose [is] the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?"  The Lord says, "I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of male goats.
When you come to appear before Me to tread My courts, who has required this at your hand?

Jeremiah 7:22 - 24, Old Testament
For I did not speak to your fathers, nor command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices.
But I commanded them this thing, saying, 'Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people, and walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it may be well to you.'  But they did not listen, nor incline their ear, but they walked in the counsels [and] in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward" -

Leviticus 17:11, Old Testament
For [they said in their evil heart,] "The life of the flesh [is] in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls, for it [is] the blood [that] makes an atonement for the soul."

Hebrews 10:4, New Testament
[But it is] not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins -

Sirach 34:19, Apocrypha
[For] the Most High is not… pacified for sin by the multitude of sacrifices -

Hebrews 10:11, New Testament
[For] every priest stands daily, ministering and offering the same sacrifices often times, which can never take away sins.

Book of Jubilees 5:24, Apocrypha
[Rather,] it has been written and ordained for the Children of Israel: If they turn to Him in righteousness, He will forgive all their transgressions and pardon all their sins.

Isaiah 1:16 - 17, Old Testament
[So] wash yourself, make yourself clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil;
learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Proverbs 21:3, Old Testament
[For] to do justice and judgement [is] more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Mark 12:33, New Testament
And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love [his] neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Micah 6:6 - 8, Old Testament
[So] with what will I come before the Lord, [and] bow myself before the High God?  Will I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, [or] with ten thousands of rivers of oil?  Will I give my firstborn [for] my transgression, the fruit of my body [for] the sin of my soul?  He has shown you, O man, what [is] good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Sections of Sacrifices

God has Made it Clear that He Wants Neither Sacrifices or Burnt Offerings

For He has had No Pleasure in Sacrifices for Sin, and Thus, he who Sacrifices a Lamb, it is as if he Cut Off a Dog's Neck

Epistle of Barnabas 2:4, Apocrypha
He has made [it] clear to us by all the prophets that He wants neither sacrifices or whole burnt offerings or oblations, saying at one time -

Isaiah 1:11 - 12, Old Testament
"To what purpose [is] the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?"  The Lord says, "I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of male goats.
When you come to appear before Me to tread My courts, who has required this at your hand?

Jeremiah 6:20, Old Testament
[And] to what purpose does incense come to Me from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country?  Your burnt offerings [are] not acceptable, nor [are] your sacrifices sweet to Me.

Hosea 6:6 - 7, Old Testament
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
But they, like men, have transgressed the covenant, they have dealt treacherously against Me there -

Isaiah 43:23 - 24, Old Testament
[For] you have not [actually] brought Me the small cattle of your burnt offerings; neither have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not caused you to serve with an offering, nor wearied you with incense.
You have bought Me no sweet cane with money, neither have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices, but you have made Me serve with your sins, you have wearied Me with your iniquities."

Psalms 40:6, Old Testament
[And thus,] You did not desire sacrifice and offering; You have opened my ears, You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.

1 Peter 1:19, New Testament
[But Christians falsely say,] "[You are redeemed] with the precious blood of the Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

Isaiah 66:3 - 4, Old Testament
[But] he who sacrifices a lamb, [it is as if] he cut off a dog's neck; he who kills an ox, [it is as if] he slew a man; he who offers an oblation, [it is as if he offered] swine's blood; he who burns incense, [it is as if] he blessed an idol.  They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
I will also choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none answered; when I spoke, they did not hear, but they did evil before My eyes, and chose [that] in which I did not delight."

Hebrews 10:6, New Testament
[And thus,] You have had no pleasure in burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin.

Psalms 51:16, Old Testament
You do not desire sacrifice; else I would give [it], You do not delight in burnt offering.

Those who Disbelieve Say, "Aaron will Confess All their Sins and the Goat will Bear All their Iniquities," but Indeed they are Liars -

Leviticus 16:21 - 22, Old Testament
[For they falsely said that] "Aaron will lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess all the iniquities of the Children of Israel over it, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and will send [him] away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness.
And the goat will bear all their iniquities upon itself…"

But No Bearer of Burdens will Bear the Burden of Another; so do Not be Deceived, for Every Man will Bear his Own Burden

29:12, Qur'an
Those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Follow our way, and we will carry your sins."  But they will not carry anything of their sins.  Indeed, they are liars -

3:69, Qur'an
[For] a faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you.  But they do not mislead [anyone] except themselves, and they do not perceive.

Galatians 6:7, New Testament
[So] do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man sows, that he will also reap.

4:111, Qur'an
[Thus,] whoever earns a sin only earns it against himself.  And God is Knowing and Wise.

Ezekiel 18:20, Old Testament
…[And thus,] the son will not bear the iniquity of the father, neither will the father bear the iniquity of the son, the righteousness of the righteous will be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon him.

Colossians 3:25, New Testament
[And so] he who does wrong will receive for the wrong which he has done, and there is no partiality.

17:15, Qur'an
[Thus,] whoever is guided is only guided for his soul.  And whoever errs only errs against it.  And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.

Galatians 6:4 - 5, New Testament
But [rather,] let every man prove his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
For every man will bear his own burden.

53:36 - 41, Qur'an
Or has he not been informed of what was in the Scriptures of Moses
and [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - that no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another?  And that there is nothing for man except that for which he strives and that his effort is going to be seen - then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense.

Romans 2:5 - 6, New Testament
But after your hardness and impenitent heart, you treasure up wrath to yourself against the Day of Wrath, and revelation of the righteous Judgement of God,
who will render to every man according to his deeds -

3 Nephi 26:4, Book of Mormon
[For on] the great and Last Day, when all people, and all kindred, and all nations and tongues will stand before God, [they will] be judged by their works, whether they are good or whether they are evil -

Ecclesiastes 12:14, Old Testament
For God will bring every work into Judgement, with every secret thing, whether [it is] good, or whether [it is] evil.

Sacrificing on Stone Altars is from Satan, who Threw his Own Desire into Verses, so Woe to those who Write the Scripture with their Own Hands -

Leviticus 8:30, Old Testament
[For they falsely say that] Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which [was] upon the altar, and sprinkled [it] upon Aaron, [and] upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, [and] his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

But God Abolishes that which Satan Throws in, Then God Makes His Verses Precise - and Thus, "You will Pour Out the Blood Thereof and Cover it with Dust, and Let No Blood Appear upon you Nor upon your Clothes"

22:52 - 54, Qur'an
We did not send any messenger or prophet before you except that when Satan desired, he threw in his [own] desire [into His verses]. But God abrogates that [falsehood] which Satan throws in [His verses]; then God makes His verses precise. And God is Knowing and Wise.
[That is] so He may make what [falsehood] Satan throws in a trial for those who have disease in their hearts and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension. And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts become humble to it. And indeed, God is the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path -

Leviticus 17:13, Old Testament
And [thus God said,] "Whatever man [there is] among the Children of Israel, or among the strangers who sojourn among you, who hunts and catches any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he will even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

Book of Jubilees 21:22, Apocrypha
And when you are done sacrificing, wash your hands and your feet again. And let no blood appear upon you nor upon your clothes;"

Exodus 29:20 - 21, Old Testament
[But they falsely say,] "You will kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put [it] upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
And you will take of the blood that [is] upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle [it] upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him, and he will be made holy, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him."

2:79, Qur'an
[So] woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from God," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

43:62, Qur'an
[So] never let Satan avert you.  Indeed, he is a clear enemy to you.

7:16 - 17, Qur'an
[For Satan] said, "Because You have made me err, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path.
Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You]."

Deuteronomy 28:14 - 15, Old Testament
[And so God said,] "You will not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, [to] the right hand, or [to] the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
But it will come to pass, if you will not hear the voice of the Lord your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day; that all these curses will come upon you, and overtake you."

5:13, Qur'an
So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard.  They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded.  And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them.  But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds].  Indeed, God loves the doers of good.

5:15 - 16, Qur'an
[So] O People of the Scripture, Our messenger has come to you making clear much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture, and he pardons much.  A light and a clear Book have come to you from God -
by which God guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.

5:90, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, divining arrows, and [sacrificing on] stone altars are only abominations from the work of Satan, so avoid them so that you may be successful.

They Sacrificed their Sons and Daughters to Devils, which I did Not Command them

Rather, they were Defiled with their Own Works and Inventions, for they were Mingled Among the Heathen, who Burn their Sons with Fire as Burnt Offerings to Baal

6:137, Qur'an
And likewise, to many of the polytheists, their partners have made the killing of their children [seem] pleasing in order to bring about their destruction and to cover them with confusion in their religion.  And if God had willed, they would not have done so.  So leave them and that which they invent -

Psalms 106:35 - 37, Old Testament
[For they] were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
And they served their idols, which were a snare to them. They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to devils.

1 Corinthians 10:20, New Testament
[And thus,] I [say] that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God, and I am not willing that you should have fellowship with devils.

2 Kings 17:16 - 17, Old Testament
[For] they left all the commandments of the Lord their God, and made themselves molten images, [even] two calves, and made a grove, and prostrated to all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold their souls to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.

Psalms 106:38 - 39, Old Testament
[For they] shed innocent blood, [even] the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.
Thus, they were defiled with their own works, and went whoring with their own inventions.

Deuteronomy 12:31 - 32, Old Testament
[Thus,] you will not do so to the Lord your God, for every abomination to the Lord, which He hates, they have done to their gods; for they have even burnt their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
[And so] whatever thing I command you, observe to do it, you will not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

17:31, Qur'an
[So] do not kill your children for fear of poverty.  We provide for them and for you.  Indeed, their killing is a great sin.

6:140, Qur'an
[And thus,] those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what God had provided for them, inventing [lies] about God.  They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.

Jeremiah 7:31, Old Testament
"…[For] they burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I did not command [them], neither did it come into My heart.

Jeremiah 19:5, Old Testament
…[And] they have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire [for] burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command, nor spoke [it], neither did [it] come into My mind."

I do Not Want Any Provision from them, Nor do I Want them to Feed Me

For it is He who Feeds and is Not Fed, Neither is He Attended by Men's Hands as though He Needed Anything, for God is the Free of Need

Psalms 50:13, Old Testament
[And so remember when God said,] "Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

51:57 - 58, Qur'an
[No,] I do not want any provision from them, nor do I want them to feed Me."
Indeed, it is God who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength -

11:6, Qur'an
[Whereby] there is no creature on earth except that its provision is upon God, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage.  All is in a clear Book.

Luke 12:24, New Testament
[So] consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them, how much better are you than the fowls?

29:60, Qur'an
And [thus,] how many creatures do not carry their [own] provision?  God provides for them and for you.  And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

35:15, Qur'an
[So] O mankind, you are those in need of God, while God is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

80:24 - 32, Qur'an
[For] let mankind look at his food -
how We poured down water in torrents, then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], and caused grain to grow within it and [also] grapes and herbage and olive and palm trees and gardens of dense shrubbery and fruit and grass - [as] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.

22:63 - 64, Qur'an
[Or] do you not see that God has sent down rain from the heaven and the earth becomes green?  Indeed, God is Subtle and Aware.
What is in the heavens and what is on the earth [belong] to Him.  And indeed, God is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

Acts 17:24 - 25, New Testament
[So I declare Him to you,] God, who made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands;
neither is He attended by men's hands, as though He needed anything, seeing He gives life to all, and breath, and all things.

6:14, Qur'an
[So] say, "Is it [something] other than God I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?"  Say, "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to God] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be among the polytheists.'"

20:132, Qur'an
[So] enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We do not ask you for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.

God has Made a Rite of Sacrifice for All Religion so that they may Mention the Name of God over what He has Provided for them of Sacrificial Animals

So be Grateful for the Favor of God and Praise the Name of the Lord, for it is God who Made the Animals which you Eat

22:33, Qur'an
Therein are benefits for you [in the animals] for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the Ancient House -

22:34, Qur'an
[For] We have made a rite [of sacrifice] for all religion so that they may remember [or mention] the name of God over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. For your God is one Lord, so submit to Him. And give good news to the humble -

Deuteronomy 16:6, Old Testament
[For remember when God likewise said,] "At the place which the Lord your God will choose to place His name in, there you will sacrifice…"

6:118, Qur'an
So eat of that which the name of God has been remembered [or mentioned] upon, if you are believers in His verses -

40:79, Qur'an
[For] it is God who made the grazing animals for you which you ride upon, and some of them you eat.

22:36, Qur'an
[And thus,] We have made the camels and cattle for you as among the symbols of God; therein is good for you.  So remember [or mention] the name of God over them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are down on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar.  Thus, We have subjected them to you so that you may be grateful.

16:114, Qur'an
[So] eat of what God has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of God, if it is [indeed] Him that you serve -

Psalms 50:10 - 11, Old Testament
For every beast of the forest [is] Mine, [and] the cattle upon a thousand hills.
I know all the fowls of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field [are] Mine.

36:71 - 73, Qur'an
[Then] do they not see that We have created cattle for them from what Our hands have made, and [then] they are their owners?
And We have tamed them for them, so they ride some of them, and they eat some of them. And there are [other] benefits and drinks for them therein, so will they not be grateful?

Psalms 107:21 - 22, Old Testament
O that [men] would praise the Lord [for] His goodness, and [for] His wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.

6:162, Qur'an
[So] say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for God, Lord of the worlds -

Psalms 54:6, Old Testament
I will freely sacrifice to You, I will praise Your name, O Lord; for [it is] good.

Psalms 116:17, Old Testament
I will offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving to You, and will call upon the name of the Lord."
